I know that this thread is rather old, but I think there is not yet an adequate answer for your question. As far as I know, Clojure does not have any syntax for setting the optimizations mode for Common Lisp code in your project. So I can only suggest that you could add the code that optimizes the file in your Lisp interpreter environment at the beginning of the code that uses the function and add the settings to your Common Lisp code.
